This week in Little Doves, our topic is Transport! 🚜🚗✈️

The children have been having lots of fun exploring with diggers and crushed cereal, practising their filling and emptying skills as they scoop, pour and transport materials. They have also been getting creative with loose parts and play-dough, using their imaginations to build a variety of wonderful structures. 🏗️✨

It has been lovely to see the children exploring, creating and learning through play! 💛😊

🥕🌽🌱 Our Little Doves 2-Year-Old Provision children have been busy using their senses to explore different vegetables in the vegetable patch and trying out sensory foam! 🥕🌽🌱

The children have been developing their learning through hands-on play by exploring:

🧮 Maths – learning about heavy and light, size and shape
💬 Speech and Language – encouraging communication by naming the items they discovered such as big cabbage, crunchy carrots and brown soil (bran flakes!), as well as talking about their likes and dislikes
🔬 Science – learning about growing
👀👂👃👅✋ Using all 5 senses to explore textures, smells, sounds, tastes and colours all around them!

From squishing and scooping to smelling and discovering, the children loved every moment of their sensory adventure. 💚

We cannot handle the cuteness!!
