We had lots of happy faces as our students collected their results this morning! 🎉
Congratulations, Year 11 — you have done yourselves, your families, staff and the RTS community proud!
These results are a fantastic reflection of the hard work, determination and resilience of our students, alongside the unwavering commitment of our staff and the support of families.
This cohort faced the unique challenge of not sitting SATs due to the pandemic, making it particularly difficult to establish a clear baseline from which to measure progress. Against this backdrop, it is especially encouraging to see improvements across our key headline measures. Attainment 8 has improved, as has the percentage of students achieving grades 4+ and 5+ in both English and Mathematics.
However, exam results are about much more than numbers. What matters most is the exciting future that lies ahead for our young people. We are delighted that, as things stand, the vast majority of our students are now set to take their next steps into further education, employment with training or other positive destinations.
It is also fantastic to see so many of our students choosing to remain part of the RTS family and continue their studies in our fantastic Sixth Form!
