Year 6 are well rested and now up and off to Le Touquet to visit the market and practise their French skills! Then off to the beach!

Year 6 all had a good night’s sleep last night and are now on their way for a full day of visiting the WWI memorials, Wellington quarry and Vimy Ridge. Look out for their pictures on the class pages later this evening.

The sun is apparently shining on year 6 in France this morning and everyone has slept well! Plans for the day include exploring beautiful Rue. All photos will be on the class pages on the website at the end of each day 😎

We’re pleased to let you know that the journey down to the ferry was completed successfully, and the children have now made it across to France!

The children have been fantastic so far and are looking forward to the adventure ahead.

Leeds City Council are looking for a new Leeds Children’s Mayor for the upcoming 2026/27 year.

If you are in Year 5 and would like to apply, please visit your class pages to find the post with everything you need to know about the role, requirements, and application form.

Please hand all applications to Miss Ingram by Monday 22nd June, in preparation for the official deadline on Friday 26th June. Applications can be completed and submitted either electronically via email or as a printed copy.

Today, our School Council team enjoyed a trip to Pizza Express to make pizza! These were then enjoyed in the sun along at Ilkley Band Stand.

A huge thank you to our team for all the hard work and effort they’ve put in to being School Council so far this year ❤️

Lockerbie Update!

The sun is shining again ☀️

Today we will be climbing, rafting, paddle boarding, axe throwing, zip wiring, shelter building and learning how to survive in the wild.

We have just done tug of war and will spend the rest of the day: climbing, canoeing, kayaking, playing Olympic Games and will end with a whole cohort camp fire. Sun is shining.
