The children have had a great first day in Malham today and are getting ready for their evening activities. Photos are going on the class pages this evening.

This week, School Council’s equipment order arrived at school. Using the money made from their recent sponsored silence, the team have ordered various pieces to share across both of our playgrounds for everyone to use at break and lunchtimes. Together they ordered basketballs, footballs, tennis balls, cricket sets, frisbees, dancing ribbons, and throw and catch sets. Thank you so much to all those who contributed to the sponsored silence.

As we head into the summer, we’ve been talking about water safety with our children. This includes discussing safe places to swim and making sure there is always an adult present. Here’s some advice for you to talk through and practise at home too!

Year six are packed up and on their way home as we speak! ⛴️ ETA is 8pm at Magnet car park.

Year 6 are well rested and now up and off to Le Touquet to visit the market and practise their French skills! Then off to the beach!

Year 6 all had a good night’s sleep last night and are now on their way for a full day of visiting the WWI memorials, Wellington quarry and Vimy Ridge. Look out for their pictures on the class pages later this evening.

The sun is apparently shining on year 6 in France this morning and everyone has slept well! Plans for the day include exploring beautiful Rue. All photos will be on the class pages on the website at the end of each day 😎

Year 6 Update 🚢 🇫🇷

We’re pleased to let you know that the journey down to the ferry was completed successfully, and the children have now made it across to France!

The children have been fantastic so far and are looking forward to the adventure ahead.
