The Tuition Mill is a brand new family run tutoring centre.

We will provide students with a range of methods and techniques to help them succeed, and create individual learning programmes tailored to their needs. Once your child has completed their assessment, we will then place your child with one of our teachers. All of our teachers are all qualified teachers or highly qualified subject specialists. Our aim is to close those knowledge gaps and prepare st

udents for SATs and GCSE exams. A-Level support will also be available. All our tuition is delivered in direct accordance with the National Curriculum. Extensive research has gone into the programmes and materials of study we use and they cannot be purchased just anywhere. Be assured we will use our expert written programme by tailoring it to your child's individual needs. All our staff are CRB checked and undergo stringent interviews prior to joining us. The Tuition Mill is of course OFSTED registered.

Happy Vaisakhi to all those who are celebrating
Happy Vaisakhi.

Vaisakhi is a meaningful festival that celebrates the formation of the Khalsa and the harvest season, and it carries an important message of gratitude, unity, and equality. It reminds us that all people are equal and deserve respect, regardless of gender, background, or status.
In simple terms for children, Vaisakhi is like a big birthday party and thank-you day all in one!
🎉 It celebrates the birthday of a special group called the Khalsa, started by a Sikh Guru (a teacher and guide).
🌾 It’s also a harvest festival, which means farmers celebrate the food they have grown.
🙏 People say “thank you” to God for everything they have.
🍛 Families and friends eat together, share food, and help others.

Are you passionate about helping young people discover a love for English?
The Tuition Mill Leeds is looking for a dedicated Secondary English Tutor to join our growing team. We work with students aged 11–18 across KS3, GCSE, and A-Level, helping them build confidence, improve grades, and develop strong communication skills.

About the role
• Deliver engaging, tailored English lessons (literature and/or language)
• Support students in understanding key texts, essay structure, and exam techniques
• Provide clear feedback and encourage independent learning
• Work flexibly around your availability – after-school, evenings, or weekends

About you
• A strong academic background in English or a related field
• Teaching or tutoring experience (school, tuition centre, or private) preferred
• A patient, encouraging approach to helping students succeed
• Clear communication skills and reliability
• DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
