In December I had the privelage of working with The British Library and Elliot Hudson College to create a Tabletop RPG project based on the History of the City of Leeds.

It was an absolutely fantastic experience and I hope I'll get the oppurtunity to work on similar projects going forward!

Spent the last few days down at stonehenge being a Stone Age man, and had a lovely time doing it!

The stones themselves are a sight to behold: the tallest ones are over 20ft tall, and they are so old that the religion that built them is almost completely unknown to us.

Stay tuned, as I also have a couple of videos to post!

Last Friday, I spent a few hours as Sithric Sigurdson at Meanwood primary! Had an absolutely fantastic time!

One teacher had the following to say:

"He was unbelievable: very interactive and brought our history topic to life!"

All in all, a rather successful day!

Spent the afternoon literally whittling away the hours, and have these two arrows to show for it!

On the left, the Bodkin arrow. These inflict less serious injuries, but are slim enough to slip in between the rings of mail armour!

The other one is a Broadhead arrow, much nastier to be hit by, and slightly barbed to make it messier to remove. However, against an armoured opponent, they're a far less dangerous choice.

Either way, wouldnt want to be on the recieving end of one of these!

Less than 2 Weeks ago, I launched Crypt To Classroom.

I'm already delivering workshops! Had a fantastic time with some ferocious shield maidens from a South Leeds Brownies and Rainbow division! Takk (Old norse for Thank You!) To all involved!

Turns out Taking a spear selfie is really hard work! This was my 20th attempt!

My Spear is almost complete, just needs a couple of finishing touches. It may not be as long as a viking era spear: mine is about 6ft, and even the shortest viking spears are believed to have been 7ft.

But at 6ft, its safer for students to handle, and can be broken in to 3ft sections for ease of transportation, while still being a versatile and deadly tool for close quarter combat!
