It's Dyslexia Awareness Week.

Dyslexia is a learning difficulty which primarily affects reading and writing skills.
Dyslexic people may have difficulty processing and remembering information they see and hear, which can affect learning and the acquisition of literacy skills. Dyslexia can also impact on other areas such as organisational skills.

Our employability study programme will:

• Support you to get ready for the workplace, further learning, or an apprenticeship by developing your employment skills along with maths and English.
• It is a programme with work experience included to develop your vocational skills.
• Work towards achieving a qualification in Employability Skills.

It's a full-time programmes which means parents/guardians will be entitled to child benefits too.

‘’Chloe is fantastic, she gets stuck in and uses her initiative. She is always wanting something to do to keep busy. We let her dig a hole to expose pipes in our yard yesterday to see what the issue was with the system. The work she did and the effort she put into it was unbelievable. The pipe was cracked which she was able to identify independently. She has completed the task to a really high standard and definitely has a job at the end if she carries on the way she is."
