There’s one week to go until primary school national offer day for September 2022 places.

If you applied online, we’ll email your child’s offer on Tuesday 19 April from 8am. Please be sure to check your junk folder in case the email ends up in there. If you applied in any other way we’ll send you a letter which may arrive a few days later.

You have options such as joining a waiting list or submitting an appeal if you’re not happy with your offer. You don’t need to act immediately but please note these important deadlines:

• Ask to join a waiting list by Monday 2 May
• Submit an appeal by Monday 16 May to guarantee it will be heard before the summer holidays

Thursday update (Free bus travel on 31 October/ half term Halloween fun):

🔊 Bus travel throughout West Yorkshire will be FREE on Sunday 31 October to celebrate COP26. 🚍
Tackling the climate emergency and protecting the environment is one of Mayor Tracy Brabin's 10 pledges to West Yorkshire. She is attending COP26 to set out how this and other pledges are supporting urgent, affirmative action in her region to respond to the climate crisis. This includes encouraging people to swap private car travel for public transport. Try it on Sunday to show your support!

Our lovely Shula is following her dreams to coach and mentor older children, and is moving on. We wish her every success on this next step in her journey. We will miss her but we are immensely proud of the incredible young woman she is.

We’ve been very busy over the past fortnight learning about lifecycles, the children have enjoyed watching the ducklings hatch 🐣 and grow, and they’ve loved helping take care of them.
Our happy ducklings have now gone to their new home.
