Theatre Arts I bring 30 years of experience as a professional entertainer to my role as a Music Teacher as a singer, pianist, dancer and MD. My professional career has taken me all over the world on cruise ships & theater's both in my own shows and large r***e presentations and musicals with many of the top names in show bu

siness. For the younger ones who would like to learn I am up to date with the very latest chart material and keep it modern and vibrant whilst still teaching them the techniques required, as well as being able to offer the exam syllabus if required. For the Adults I can create a learning experience that creates the technique required with course books and music that you enjoy. I find if students are learning a little of what they like to sing or play along side the techniques required in moving through stages in the lessons it only enhances the experience of learning and therefore provides incentive and determination. Making music pure joy is the key. I am fully DBS checked and hold an up to date certificate in working with children and young people. I teach children from 4yrs -adults privately
Schools EYFS - 18yrs

I am also now offering students additional help with GCSE Music where I can assist with support to the Head Of Music in schools. I am up to date with all the latest syllabus and set works required for these exams. Latest results students achieved A stars at GCSE level. Students have also achieved distinction and merits in grade 5 theory (ABRSM) which then allows them to go on and take grade 6 on their chosen instrument. I have extensive experience teaching the younger ones in primary schools delivering curriculum Music as well as Theatre Arts workshops. In addition to this I can offer a range of backing tracks and tailor made musical arrangements. I do have special skills in working with students who have Dyslexia and I welcome anyone with special learning requirements
