End of an era today! We formally closed the group's bank account! The remaining monies will go to good causes including Conversation Club Leeds and Sunflower ESOL . It feels emotional but remember the fond memories running this project!

Morning all. There will be an important announcement here about the English in the Community project at 1.00pm tomorrow.

Statement from English in the Community:

This is to regret that we have cancelled the online conversation classes from this point forward. This is due to low numbers of participants and not enough interest to make the sessions viable.

We do apologise for any inconvenience caused and we plan to have face to face ESOL classes at Scargill Grange Community Room again in the future when we are allowed to.

We will share any online language learning opportunities on this page for the time being.

This is we love delivering ESOL because of learners learning another language! :)

No Conversation Class on 1st February 2021

Due to unforeseen circumstances there will be no conversation class tomorrow. The next one will be on Monday 8th February at 5.00pm.
