The Fund provides grants for the enhancement and personal development of young people under 18 years Ann Maguire was a 61 year old school teacher from Leeds.
A kind, caring, wonderful woman to all that knew her and to thousands of school children she was their exceptional and inspirational teacher 'Mrs Maguire'. The death of Ann Maguire shocked the nation when she was fatally stabbed in her school classroom in April 2014. The love and energy she brought to her work was tangible. A year ago since the Ann Maguire Gala in Leeds . Thank you to all those who performed , contributed and bought tickets it was a very special evening and raised a staggering £48, 000 for the fund in ticket sales and generous donations so a HUGE thank you . We continue to support young people's artistic journeys and education in memory of Ann Maguire .
