📚✨ One of the things I love most about teaching English is seeing children grow in confidence and that’s why I’m such a strong advocate for small group sessions.

In a smaller group, every child has the opportunity to contribute, ask questions and receive personalised feedback. Rather than sitting quietly at the back, learners become active participants in discussions, reading activities and writing tasks.

Research from the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) highlights that small group tuition can have a positive impact on pupil progress, with evidence suggesting an average of around four months’ additional progress when delivered effectively. The EEF also notes that the greatest benefits come when teaching is targeted to pupils’ specific needs and when strong relationships are built between teacher and learner. ✨

For English, this is particularly powerful. Small groups allow me to:
✅ Adapt activities to individual strengths and areas for development.
✅ Build confidence in speaking, reading and writing.
✅ Provide immediate feedback that helps pupils improve quickly.
✅ Create a supportive environment where children feel comfortable taking risks and sharing ideas.

Perhaps most importantly, small group sessions help children realise that their voice matters. 🗣️

Whether we’re exploring a text, developing creative writing, or preparing for exams, every learner has the chance to be heard and supported. 🥰

It’s amazing to see what children can achieve when they have the time, space and encouragement to flourish 🌻

Sometimes the hardest session to join is the first one. 💛

This week I’ve been onboarding new students, all with different backgrounds, experiences and confidence levels. Walking into a new group can feel daunting, especially when school or other settings haven’t always felt easy.

Watching children take that first step, find their place and leave with a smile reminds me why these sessions matter so much. Every child deserves a space where they feel seen, understood and capable of thriving.

14/06/2026

I just want to say a massive thank you. ♥️

I’ve had five new families sign up for our sessions over the last 48 hours and I couldn’t be more excited to welcome them and support their children’s learning journeys. 📚

To every family I work with, please know how much I value and appreciate you. You are kind, patient, supportive and trusting. Watching your children grow in confidence, develop new skills and begin to believe in themselves is the reason I do what I do. 👏🏻

Something that people don’t always realise is that this isn’t my only role. Alongside running these sessions, I work full-time and I’m also a mum to two young children. Like many families, I juggle a lot, which means my time outside of work and family commitments is incredibly precious. 🫶🏻

Sometimes enquiries come through with the expectation that I can be available at any time, but the reality is that there simply aren’t enough hours in the day. As much as I would love to help every child, I know that sustainable support means protecting my time and ensuring I can give my best to the students and families I already work with. ✨

That’s one of the reasons I’ve started bringing other talented specialists on board. My mission has always been bigger than me. It’s about helping as many children as possible build confidence, develop a love of learning and realise their potential. By growing the team, we can support more families while maintaining the high-quality, personalised support that makes such a difference.

Thank you for being part of this journey, for recommending to others and for trusting me with something so important. It truly means more than I can put into words.

Here’s to helping even more children grow in confidence and thrive. ❤️

I’ve had a few new followers so wanted to say hello 👋🏼

If your child is moving into Year 11 - they’ve already covered half the GCSE content in Year 10.

Now is the time to secure a place with me to ensure they get the grade they deserve. ♥️

Ask any Year 11 parent… it flies by. I get parents asking 3 weeks before can I help? I will always try, but I can tell you that students who are with me from September have a far better chance at securing their grade. That’s because it’s about confidence that builds over time. 🧠

Discussion. Analysis. Feedback. Practice. There’s no last minute fix unfortunately. 🔧

WhatsApp 07872044696 to discuss how I can work with your child to get them to where they need to be.

Prices start from £99 per month. 9 months commitment = the grade they deserve 🥳

🚨 Is your child going into Year 11 this September? ✨

By now, they’re already half way through their GCSE content! 🧠

Every year, parents tell me the same thing: “We wish we’d started support sooner.” By the time mock exam results arrive, valuable months have been lost.

Whether your child needs help securing a Grade 4 pass or is aiming for the very top Grade 9, targeted support now can make a significant difference to their final result.

For just £99 per month, your child will receive expert GCSE English tuition focused on:

✅ Building confidence
✅ Closing knowledge gaps
✅ Mastering exam techniques
✅ Improving grades step by step

Year 11 moves quickly and the students who make the biggest progress are often those who start from September.

📚 September places are strictly limited and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. There are only a few left.

If you’re serious about helping your child achieve the grade they deserve, WhatsApp me 07872044696 to secure a place before the new academic year begins. 🤩

The benefits of small group sessions: ✨

For many students, especially those with dyslexia, ADHD and other neurodiverse learning profiles, confidence can be just as important as content. That’s why small group GCSE English sessions can make such a difference!

📚 1. A Safe Space to Ask Questions
In a smaller group, students often feel more comfortable speaking up, asking for clarification, and sharing their ideas without the pressure of a large classroom.

💡 2. Teaching That Adapts to Different Learning Styles
Small groups allow lessons to be tailored with visual aids, discussion, repetition and structured support that can help neurodiverse learners process and retain information more effectively.

🚀 3. Confidence Grows Through Success
With more individual attention and regular encouragement, students can celebrate small wins, build their skills step by step, and develop the self-belief needed to tackle exams with confidence.

Every student deserves to feel capable, understood, and supported. Sometimes, a smaller group can make a big difference. 💙
