The benefits of small group sessions: ✨
For many students, especially those with dyslexia, ADHD and other neurodiverse learning profiles, confidence can be just as important as content. That’s why small group GCSE English sessions can make such a difference!
📚 1. A Safe Space to Ask Questions
In a smaller group, students often feel more comfortable speaking up, asking for clarification, and sharing their ideas without the pressure of a large classroom.
💡 2. Teaching That Adapts to Different Learning Styles
Small groups allow lessons to be tailored with visual aids, discussion, repetition and structured support that can help neurodiverse learners process and retain information more effectively.
🚀 3. Confidence Grows Through Success
With more individual attention and regular encouragement, students can celebrate small wins, build their skills step by step, and develop the self-belief needed to tackle exams with confidence.
Every student deserves to feel capable, understood, and supported. Sometimes, a smaller group can make a big difference. 💙

Today I had to practise what I preach! 📚✏️💪
I’m always telling my students how important revision is, encouraging them to stay focused, keep going when motivation is low, and trust the process. Today, it was my turn to take my own advice as I revised for my end-of-year apprenticeship exam! 🎓📖
If I’m honest, motivating myself was a real challenge 😅. It took every bit of energy and concentration I had to sit down and focus, but I persevered and got through it 💪✨.
Now the exam is done ✅ and all I can do is wait until September to find out if I’ve passed 🤞🍀. Hopefully all that hard work will pay off! 🙏📚
The whole experience has given me even more appreciation for what our students go through during exam season ❤️. And I have to say, I’m very thankful I only had ONE exam to sit 😅 because some students are facing 25+ exams and that’s no small feat! 😮👏
For now, the revision notes are away, the exam is finished, and the waiting game begins… 🤞🎓✨

Thank you to the lovely families I’ve worked with this year. 🫶🏻✨
The kind words, the cards and gifts are so appreciated. ♥️
I’m sad to see Y11 go, but have every confidence in them doing well. It’s been a pleasure to be part of their learning journeys. ☺️

✨ Student feedback ✨ My wonderful Year 11s are reaching their final session this week and parents will know as we go on our learning journey together, I always ask for feedback 🫶🏻
This young man has made significant progress over the last few weeks. He needs 5 Grade 3s to get into building college and I’ve got everything crossed for him 🤞🏻

✨ I’m blessed to have so many different students, all individuals ♥️
This year has reminded me that behaviour, attainment and confidence rarely tell the whole story. Behind every struggling learner is a child who wants to do well. The question isn’t whether they want to do well, it’s whether we’ve given them the tools they need to succeed. ❤️

As we head into the final week of Year 11 sessions, I’ve been reflecting on the last year 🫶🏻
This time last year, I’d been out of the classroom for a month and knew I wanted to continue to help students. I had an idea of what I wanted to do but didn’t know how I’d achieve it. 🤷🏻♀️
I wanted to create an inclusive space to help students feel confident in their abilities. I wanted to create small groups where students thrived through conversation, encouragement and humour. I wanted to help students flourish. 🌱
I had no business knowledge or advertising knowledge but I had a vision. And thanks to the wonderful families I’ve been working with, it came true. 🧠 I’ve now been able to bring 2 more specialist teachers onboard to meet growing demand. 🤩
I’ve been able to welcome over 50 students through the doors this year to help them become confident in their A-Levels, GCSEs, SATS and Resits ♥️
And now it’s time to say goodbye to some of them as they move into the next stage of their life. It ranges from Sixth Forms, Colleges, Aviation College and Apprenticeships. I wish them the best of luck, but know they won’t need it as they’re all brilliant human beings. ✨
Thanks again to the families I’ve worked with over the last year, the recommendations to friends, the feedback and the patience!
Also massive thank you to Nerys. ♥️ .horsforth can’t really tell you about how supportive and instrumental she’s been in the success of this last year. 🫶🏻
If you’d like to help a small business then please share this post and like. 😊
