As of today, I'm excited to share that I've now (officially) become the Principal of Stagecoach Leeds Alwoodley, alongside Stagecoach Leeds Horsforth. π
For our students and families, nothing changes - I've been fortunate enough to lead both areas for a long time now. But, for me, today feels like a lovely opportunity to reflect on what we're building across Alwoodley & Horsforth and, most importantly, reaffirm my commitment to giving every child who joins us the very best experience possible.
I've always believed that Stagecoach should be so much more than simply three hours of Performing Arts classes each week.
I want every child who walks through our doors to feel known, valued and excited to be there. I want them to be challenged and encouraged, to make brilliant friendships, grow in confidence and have opportunities and experiences they'll remember for years to come.
For one child, that might mean finding the confidence to speak in front of an audience for the first time. For another, it might be performing on a huge stage, taking an exam, travelling somewhere exciting with their friends or being trusted with a role they never thought they could play. Sometimes, it's simply finding somewhere they feel they belong. βοΈ
Those moments are ultimately what everything we do is about.
I'm incredibly proud of what we've already created across Stagecoach Leeds Alwoodley & Horsforth, but there's still so much more I want us to achieve. I'll continue looking for ways to improve, create new opportunities and make our students' experience even better.
I'm very lucky to work with such wonderful young people, families and teachers. Thank you for all your support over the last few years - here's to creating many more opportunities, memories and moments to be proud of! π§‘π
