Here is a recent performance by The Yorkshire Flute Choir who rehearse at Music House on Tuesdays. This is an excerpt from “The Teddy Bears’ Picnic “. Our Story

The Yorkshire College of Music and Drama is a small music college, based in the heart of Leeds’ academia. We are also a charitable trust.

Our aim is to use the transformative power of music to enrich and enhance the lives of those in our local communities. We bring people together and ensure music and performing arts are accessible for all in.

We do this through a range of services, which include:

A primary schools outreach programme, where we provide musical instruments and qualified tutors to local primary schools to support and enhance their existing music education provision.

We support a number of local charities through the provision of music therapy sessions.

Music lessons for all instruments, singing and drama lessons, music theory and composition tuition.

Group classes, music and drama workshops and choral concerts.

We have several choirs based in our college and we are proud to support the very successful Leeds Male Voice Choir, run by our very own Principal Tim Knight.
