Year 9 visited the Science and Media Museum in Bradford, where they explored the history and impact of film, television, photography, and digital media. The trip included interactive exhibits and engaging displays, including: Setting the Stage: 70 Years of the Eurovision Song Contest. Pupils particularly enjoyed learning how media messages are created and interpreted, as well as the science behind sound and light. Throughout the day, students demonstrated excellent behaviour and curiosity, asking thoughtful questions and engaging enthusiastically with the activities🎙️🔦
The Duke of Edinburgh Award at Benton Park gives students the chance to step outside their comfort zone, build confidence and discover what they are capable of. From new skills to volunteering and expeditions, DofE is a challenge with real rewards.
