Well today is the day!!! Massive thank you to Theresa for all your extra hard work and support these last few weeks. We have made so many lovely memories working together but now is time to pull together as a family.

Thank you to everyone for all your custom and support we have made some lovely friends and had some lovely children come and go! We wish you all the best of luck!!!!

From September littleminds will be closing permanently. As all parents have now been informed I just wanted to thank everyone including friends and family that have supported my little business for the last 7 years. I have made some of the most fantastic memories and met some lovely families along the way.

Thank you to everyone for all your support and kind words it means so much. The decision hasn’t been made lightly but I know deep down I’m doing the right thing for me and all my family.

3 years later she is going off to nursery, the most chatty, cleaver, full of beans little girl! We will most definitely see you again when your collecting your little brother or meeting up in the holidays for a play but for now we want to wish you the best of luck at your new nursery. 🥰

Extreme weather warnings are in place next week!
Your child must come with a sun hat and cream already applied. Please bring swim clothes and TOWELS. We will Ensure that children drink lots of water and have ice pops at the ready.

I understand that childcare and work is a very difficult thing to manage when your child is poorly. But next week If your child is unwell we ask you please please please keep them home, we will have lots of children effected by the heat and trying to look after poorly children and provide the best care for the other children In these conditions can becomes very difficult and unfair.

Please can all children arrive at the setting with sun cream already applied and sun hats!
Next week is set to be hot hot hot!!! Cream will be topped up at lunch time!!

There is currently growing cases of Scarlet fever.
No one in the setting has this but wanted to share the Signs and symptoms of Scarlet Fever.

Scarlet fever is a common childhood infection caused by Streptococcus pyogenes, or group A streptococcus (GAS). The early symptoms of scarlet fever include sore throat, headache, fever, nausea and vomiting. After 12 to 48 hours the characteristic red, pinhead rash develops, typically first appearing on the chest and stomach, then rapidly spreading to other parts of the body, and giving the skin a sandpaper-like texture. The scarlet rash may be harder to spot on darker skin, although the 'sandpaper' feel should be present. Patients typically have flushed cheeks and pallor around the mouth. This may be accompanied by a ‘strawberry tongue’. As the child improves peeling of the skin can occur.
