I'm having some issues logging into the Kartra site right now (issues with account verification) so I'm not able to update the memberships or send out communications. I've raised a ticket with Kartra support to try to work this out but it could be a while before I can add more content. I have a backlog of things to upload and I will catch up as soon as I get this worked out.

Chinese swordplay tournament this past weekend. Me and the guys (Andrew Djokic, Vladimir Panek-Noble abd Gavin Johnson) representing Xing Yi Academy. We all did very well. I ceded 3rd after the group rounds and had to fight Andrew in the quarter final. I then met Roland Tepp from Estonia in the semifinal and lost. Roland went on to win the final. A good time was had by all and great to see old friends and new.

I’m dying a horse’s tail red to use as a tassel for a new martial arts spear I’m putting together. Unfortunately also dyed a finger red as well!

Next year there will be a full contact Chinese swordfighting tournament in London UK.

We've also just ordered some custom fencing kaftan jackets from SPES for some of the Xing Yi Academy crew. Closest we can find to full contact jackets that are Chinese in style and readily available. We'll be sporting the Red and Black Xing Yi Academy colours.

In the gym, I have had issues with motivation over the past couple of years so haven’t been as consistent as I should be in physical training. Trying to get back to it. I’ll be 41 years old in a couple of weeks so I’m hoping to stay fit over forty. I’m currently doing clean and press with 60kg. 5 sets 5 reps.
