Today was my last session on the Strength In Stitches Project at .women

Teaching embroidery to celebrate roots and rituals of Iranian culture has been an absolute joy. Because of my own Persian roots, this project holds a special place in my heart. ❤️

Thank you to the incredible Persian women’s hub .women for welcoming me so warmly. Your pieces are beautiful 😍.

Incredible embroidery is being created through this powerful collaborative project! 🧵✨

Led by PHD anthropologist .higginbottom.anth and , this initiative uses the gentle art of embroidery to explore and honor personal stories of fertility journeys. 🤍

It is a profound honor to teach embroidery on a project that provides a therapeutic, and beautiful space for people to process their experiences through stitch, break the silence, and connect through creativity.
