Hi! My name is Evie Shore (she/her) and I’m one of the social media and publicity secretaries along side Cara Dunlop. I’m a second year studying psychology and I’m excited to use our social media to hopefully spread more awareness of BEAT and eating disorders. Eating disorders are very misunderstood so hopefully by raising awareness this society can help reduce stigma surround eating disorders. Meet Cara - social media sec!!
she / her | second year midwife
-
Hi! I’m Cara and I am so delighted to be part of BEAT at Uni of Leeds this year. Evie and I will be running our social media platforms; raising awareness of what eating disorders are, and the stigmas and questions around many issues. Eating disorders can affect both physical and mental health, and I am so thankful to be apart of this years team to hopefully help people speak up and have open conversations! The moment we speak up is the moment a weight can be lifted, and support can be found.
So excited to learn more from others, be a listening ear on campus, and raise money and awareness for BEAT!
