World book day 2026 at Giggles 📖

At Giggles we celebrate the love for reading everyday. However on world book day our little stars shined extra bright as they stepped into the magical world of books! 📚💫 From brave heroes and curious adventurers to magical princesses and fantastic creatures, our children amazed us with their wonderful costumes and big imaginations.

World Book Day reminds us that every book holds a new adventure and every child holds a beautiful story within them. 💛

We are so proud of our confident readers, creative thinkers, and fabulous characters 🌟

The children had a jolly visit to the Oaktree Lodge care home, much like those merry elves spreading cheer.🎄

They were delighted in sharing joyful holiday activities with the residents, creating an atmosphere filled with laughter and warmth. It truly was a splendid experience for both the children and the residents, forging beautiful friendships and festive connections!

🌼 Grandparents Stay & Play 🌼

We had such a wonderful time welcoming our Giggles grandparents into nursery for our recent Stay & Play session! 💛

It was lovely to see so many smiles, laughter, and special moments shared between generations — from story time and crafts to playdough creations and songs. The children were so proud to show their grandparents all the fun things they do at Giggles every day!

A big thank you to all who joined us and made the morning so special. We love celebrating the important people in the children’s lives 💕

A Heartfelt Thank You 💖

As many of you know, Giggles Day Nurseries in Gipton, Bramley, and Morley, along with Sunshine Community Nursery and Little Rascals Day Nurseries have been coming together over the past few weeks to raise essential funds for one of our cherished Nursery families.

We are incredibly proud and humbled to announce that, thanks to the overwhelming generosity and kindness of our amazing staff, parents, and children, we have collectively raised an incredible £4,500 to support Georgia and her young family.

From Carnival Days held across all the sites – every effort has truly made a difference. Your compassion and community spirit shine through, and we are so grateful for your support.

🌧️✨ Rainy Day Fun! ✨🌧️

Who says rainy days are gloomy? Not us! Today we pulled on our wellies and raincoats and went puddle jumping! 💦🌈

The children had an absolute blast exploring the outdoors, splashing, laughing, and learning all about the world around them. Puddle play is a fantastic way to build coordination, encourage curiosity, and just enjoy being little!

Don’t forget to pack those waterproofs — you never know when a puddle adventure awaits! ☔👣
