Recording of when I sang live as front women for The Art Cowboys at Joseph’s Well in Leeds! 😊🎤 For those of you not from Leeds… The Well (formerly known as Joseph's Well) was a famous music venue in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. Bands such as The Killers, Editors, We Are Scientists, Bloc Party, Kaiser Chiefs, Keane and many more played there over the years. The band featured in this recording was founded by the late Tony Baker who was the most incredible creative human being and featured very known Leeds Saxophonist Leon Johnson, among other great musicians! 𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙊𝙬𝙣𝙚𝙧 & 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧… My name is Shara Meek-Myers and my purpose in life is to improve lives through teaching Performing Arts. I have been both a professional performer, and teacher for the past 26 years, contributing to enhancing the lives of young people and adults across the North and North West of England. My professional performance career encompasses theatre, film, TV, radio and working in the music industry which has given me a vast amount of professional experience as a dancer, actor and singer that I am able to share with my students through my Street Kidz and Tutu’s & Unicorns classes! And also through my private online singing tuition! 🎤😎🙌✌️I pride myself on delivering FUN, engaging, inspiring, motivational, results driven classes that children love, learn and grow from and that teach transferable skills for life! I currently teach active literacy, dance, drama, singing and exercise in a range of primary schools as well as running my own classes for kids! 🌟🩰🦄 I hold a Certificate of Education, a BA (Hons) in Education & Training, I am a qualified teacher and Associate of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance, and I am Safeguarding Level 1 certified and Enhanced DBS checked.
I take the responsibility of teaching your child / yourself very seriously and always give my students the best possible experience when they come to my classes! And we always have an absolute blast! 🤩
