Sunday morning learning!
Today during a 1:1 session we revisited the four different operations in Maths, ensuring we could remember which method to use. We then used these skills for problem solving questions.
Super proud of this super star learner today!🥰

Great session this morning, we followed our visual timetable which is a great reminder of what we need to achieve!🥰 We refreshed our memory on some timetables and used real life money to work out different amounts.

Another session ensuring prior knowledge is secured first this was with reading a dialogue clock 🕰️. So that we could then use this knowledge to support our ability to read digital clocks!🥰 Super impressed with Sophie today. 🙌🏻✨

Huge maths focused session✨, taking a deep dive into telling the time using both analogue and dialogue time. Then money how much each coin and note is worth and how we can make different amounts of money. Lastly, using our place value knowledge for different calculations such as multiplying, dividing and adding. S did amazing is this session🥰🙌🏻✨

Here at Future Wonders we really believe in promoting a deep love for reading, so our children read for pleasure. 🥰📖The ability to read for information and for enjoyment is empowering. I have often said parents/ carers passing on a love for reading is one of the greatest gifts they can give their children. Throughout the holidays this can be a great time to read with your children even if it’s just for ten minutes before bed, this can make a huge difference!✨✨

A great session! We used a visual timetable to cater for needs so it was clear from the beginning of the session what we are doing now and what’s coming next. This benefits all children as they thrive with a set routine and structure!🥰 We also used some Maths flash cards for a starter which was a fun way to practice number formation and revisit a variety of times tables. ✨

This style of teaching is beneficial for all pupils as they thrive when there is a clear routine to follow and know what is expected of them😊
