Childcare & Nursery Practitioner

Salary: Negotiable Depending on Experience

Location: Wetherby and Boston Spa and surrounding area.

Hours: The hours are shift work between the hours of 7.30 - 6.00pm Monday to Friday, full time or part-time considered for the right person

We currently have a vacancy to work with children aged 0-5 years providing a warm caring environment at their nursery.

ARE YOU FUN? DO YOU LIKE TO BE CREATIVE AND EXPLORE?

We require someone who is motivated, compassionate towards others, enthusiastic and driven to be the best that they can be.

We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference to childrens lives, by supporting them to develop in a fun and curious environment.

Duties Include:

Preparing and planning activities to give children the best start in life.
Completing accurate assessments based on the individual child.
Extending children’s learning through play and planning for in the moment teachable experiences.
To interact and play with children with care and understanding is Paramount.
To be able to listen and respond to children in a child centred manner which Safeguards children.
Work in partnership with parents to promote the best outcomes for children.

Candidate Requirements:

Ideally, we are looking for someone with a childcare qualification, however the right training can be offered to a person who displays passion and commitment.
The successful individual must have a positive outlook towards continual professional development.

He's back!

As some of you may remember, we did a collection for the charity Zarach last year and the response was amazing.

This year they are asking for donations of Pyjamas, dressing gowns and slippers we would like to help in anyway we can.

All settings are drop off points and any contribution would be very welcomed.

Today we are celebrating Diwali with Dee. The Hindu festival of light. We are tasting some of Dee’s yummy treats, we have been learning some bangla dancing and making rangoli patterns. Happy Diwali everyone
