How your training will look different depending on what stage of a contract you are in!
1️⃣ Out of contract- at this stage you have the ability to train at a high and hard intensity. You may be auditioning or working on your weaknesses to allow you to get that next contract. This is also time where you will make sure you are physically ready to jump into a contract.
2️⃣ Rehearsals phase- during this phase your body will be under a lot physical stress from the creative process of the rehearsals. Your training would need to adapt to the long and intense days in this phase. Your focus will shift more on recovery and staying injury free!
3️⃣ Performances phase - while you are performing your day to day intensity may lower from the rehearsal phase. You may still be required to perform multiple times a day but the further into this phase your body would have adapted. Your training phase will look to moving more to a maintenance phase of training. This will allow you to keep up performance levels and still keep preventing injuries 🙌
Throughout your contract and before the contract your training intensity will look different! You cannot hold the same intensity throughout because you will burn out and run a very high risk of injury!

Under fuelling 🟰 under performing!
When we look at our performance wether it be in a sport or our training style, if our nutrition doesn’t match our desired outcome you will NEVER make the progress you are after.
A lot of the time we don’t think of the importance your nutrition has on your goals and the way you perform. And we solely focus on the training believing that the training is the only important factor.
But just like baking a cake training is just one ingredient needed to make the final product.
