We have some hours coming up at The Wilder Wood Club as some of our wonderful girls spread their wings, work hard at their a-levels and start to head off to uni!

🌿 A Little Wilder Tots Update 🌿

We absolutely LOVE our Wilder Tots mornings but recently we’ve been having quite low numbers at some sessions. As a small business, this makes it really tricky for us to know whether we can run each week.

To help us plan (and avoid last-minute cancellations), we’re asking families to please book on by 8.30pm the night before each session. This gives us time to decide whether we have enough little adventurers to go ahead 🌲

If bookings are too low by that time, we may need to cancel that session.

We truly want Wilder Tots to stay — but it really is a case of use us or lose us 🤍

If you love these sessions, please book in, spread the word, and bring a friend along! Your support means the world to our little wild community.

3,2,1.... Blast off! Our Space theme has taken off this week at TOSC with lots of role play space travel & exciting challenges taking place! Alongside this the children have also enjoyed Prince & Princesses play (rec & KS1) and lots, lots more:

Intricate Scratch Art: Excellent for patience and precision. Mapping out landmarks required a high level of focus and spatial awareness!

NASA Origami: This is basically engineering with paper. It reinforces the ability to follow complex sequential instructions and improves geometric understanding!

Dancing: A great way to burn off "rocket fuel" energy while building gross motor coordination and rhythm!

Fizzing Planets: Introducing Scientific Methods. Observing the reaction between baking soda and vinegar helps develop hypothesis-testing skills!

Since two thousand and six, we’ve been the spot
For games and for laughter (we’ve had quite a lot!) 😃

With toast in the morning to start off the quest,
Our Breakfast Energy Club is simply the best!

Then the school day is over—the whistle, it blows
And back to the club every happy face goes! 🤩

With crafts on the table and friends in the hall,
Our After School crew really has it all!

To the staff and the children, both present and past,
You’ve made all these memories destined to last 💖

Two decades of playing, of spirit and heart,
And this is just surely another great start!

So, let’s raise a cheer (and a juice box or two)
For twenty years grand, and for all of you. 🥳🧃

❄️After School Club Update R.E Icy conditions:

School is allowing student collection from 2:30 PM today due to the icy conditions.

If you plan to collect your child before 3:15 PM, please send us a quick text to let us know. This helps us manage the transition smoothly.

The club will remain open this afternoon; however, we will be closing slightly earlier at 5:30 PM.

Please ensure you have arranged for collection by this time.

Winter doesn’t mean staying indoors. It means icy patterns, crunchy ground, puddles and rosy cheeks!

Come and join us tomorrow morning as we:
🔹️ Explore natural ice
🔹️ Investigate freezing and melting
🔹️ Talk hibernation
🔹️ Help non-sleeping animals survive the winter months
🔹️ Get cosy round the campfire
🔹️ Hot chocolate and a warm snack
