Dear all,
Please be kindly informed that tomorrow, Wednesday 1 March, at 17.00, March Gonzalo Capellán (University of La Rioja/Spanish Embassy in London) will be delivering the research talk: "A war of words. The new language of revolution from Mediterranean to Atlantic" at the University of Leeds.
In it he will unravel the changing meanings of the notion of revolution in the Modern Hispanic Worlds. Building on some convenient methodological notes on the conceptual history, the different modulation of the term across the Atlantic since 1808 will be addressed.
The event will be held at the Seminar Room 1.15 of the Business School in the Maurice Keyworth building and will be followed by a drink reception.
This research talk is part of the Centre for the History of Ibero-America's seminar series.
