Hi I'm Tij (or Ksh*tij) Kapote and thanks for taking the time to read a bit more about myself and why I created UCAT 3200+. So first a little bit about myself:
I applied to medicine last year and so sat the UCAT, achieving a score of 3240 (top 0.1 percentile) and SJT Band 1. This UCAT score helped me secure offers from 3 UCAT universities: Edinburgh, Newcastle and Birmingham. So having recently go
ne through the admissions process I appreciate how daunting the UCAT can initially seem to applicants and how much pressure there is to score highly in the UCAT; after all it's the main thing that universities look at when handing out interviews. Why I created UCAT 3200+:
During my preparation for the UCAT countless hours were spent watching youtube videos and searching through website to find all the tips, trick and techniques I could, to improve my score. Most of the techniques I read about had little impact on boosting my score but certain techniques were very effective. I want to pass on all the beneficial techniques that I learnt that helped me take my score from 2700, at the start of my UCAT training, to finally achieving a score of 3240 in my UCAT exam. By providing tailored 1-to-1 UCAT support, I'm excited to help the new batch of medicine/dentistry applicants to achieve a UCAT score which will set them apart from the crowd. I took my score from 2700 at the beginning of my preparation, to 3240 by the end. This was done without any external tutoring and so along the process I began to understand for myself the techniques that helped to improve my score. So when people say that the UCAT is purely an IQ test and you can't really prepare for it, this simply isn't true. By passing on all the techniques and tips I learnt onto my students, I'm confident they too can improve their score by many 100s and maybe even achieve a score of 3200+. And having been a maths and chemistry tutor, for GCSEs and A-levels, over the past two years I already have lots of experience with working with students, in a 1-to-1 setting. Secondly, the first 1-to-1 session for everyone is totally free so you can be sure that the teaching I'm providing is of the highest standard and is worth paying for. After the first free session, if you feel that the teaching isn't useful to you, there is no obligation to have another session. So there is nothing to lose by trying out UCAT 3200+. (Parents are also invited to this first free session, if they feel they want to be present, so that if they have any question these can be answered.) And finally, the tailored 1-to-1 sessions are only £20 per hour. In comparison with some of the most popular companies, this is less than half of what they are charging. I believe that money shouldn't be a barrier for people entering medicine and so the more reasonable price of £20 is trying to make this possible. So before you spend £100s of pounds give UCAT 3200+ a chance and I'm sure you won't be disappointed. So please don't hesitate to contact me for your first free session, there really is nothing to lose. I hope I can help applicants achieve a UCAT score which will make them stand out to universities and be guaranteed an interview.
