Finally, the photos of the batik craft this year. Silver Birch worked so carefully with the hot wax and the tjanting tool. The children are very proud of their final piece.

Year 4 had a super time at Wetherby as part of their geography topic, Yorkshire. We looked at land use and completed a traffic survey. Field sketching was a great way to include everything we'd learned about natural and human made features.

Miss Johnson and her glee club children did an amazing job of their performance today & are the winners of the first resilience award this year. They put on a confident performance after weeks of determined practice. We are so proud of them!

Silver Birch explored the clay and tools to create various textures and patterns in preparation for making their slab pot in a couple of weeks.

A big congratulations to all the children in Daffodil Class for a fantastic first Sports Day! Your hard work and enthusiasm truly shone through. You should be very proud of yourselves.

Today, the Reception children went on their final seasonal walk to Skelton Wood. We looked for signs of summer, such as flowers, insects, and baby birds. The children foraged for natural summer resources to create their sun catchers. We are so pleased with how beautifully they turned out.

Year 4 had a great time yesterday during Sports Afternoon. We are so proud of the effort they put in to each event.

Silver Birch explored the micro bits today. In teams, the learned how to input code to make a flashing heart and then moved onto different projects.

Sunflowers have been dissecting plants this week in our science work. We have been looking at what each part of the plant looks like and what its function is.
