A lovely last day for this little explorer: playing with his friends, playgroup and a trip to Temple Newsam.
The first of many sad goodbyes to come but I know heโ€™s going to thrive at nursery ๐Ÿ˜

Lots of outdoor water play last week in the warm weather - lovely to keep cool ๐Ÿ˜Ž
We enjoyed a trip to Roundhay park exploring the fairy houses and itโ€™s the first time weโ€™ve seen the new wooden sculptures, theyโ€™re amazing!

A lovely little trip to Temple Newsam to start the new half term. The little ones loved seeing the pigs and ducks, they sat for ages watching ๐Ÿฆ† The trees are perfect for exploring - itโ€™s lovely to watch them develop and interact as they grow ๐Ÿ˜

A great first week of the school holidays. Itโ€™s been lovely to have some of my old little ones in, they seem so grown up now theyโ€™re at school/nursery ๐Ÿ˜ The weather has been a bit hit and miss but we managed to enjoy a trip to Roundhay park as well as lots of crafts. Today we visited York Railway Museum. The little ones loved seeing the trains, especially being able to sit inside one of them and watching the model train on the railway ๐Ÿš‚

Happy Easter everyone ๐Ÿฃ We enjoyed lots of Easter activities last week. The chocolate playdough smelt amazing! We even had a visit from the Easter Bunny at playgroup - some liked him more than others ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Easter porridge oats - they have all loved this activity and keep coming back to it, scooping pouring and filling. A lovely activity for coordination and fine motor skills (even though porridge oats seem to be appearing everywhere!) ๐Ÿ˜€

Celebrating World Oral Health day last week. We looked at our teeth using mirrors and talked about brushing our teeth and going to the dentist ๐Ÿฆท ๐Ÿชฅ

A trip to the farm gave us a real life experience - a fantastic opportunity for the little ones to enhance their learning and enrich their understanding and curiosity.
I loved seeing the awe and wonder on their faces - though the cows were a bit scary close up! We saw lots of baby animals - learning new vocabulary with calves, piglets and lambs. There were even some newborn piglets smaller than our guinea pigs ๐Ÿ–๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ„๐Ÿ
