⚽️🏃 SPORTS SESSION 🏃⚽️
Today the children had a fun and active sports session! We started with a warm-up, practising movements such as star jumps, heel flicks, jogging, and swimming actions to get our bodies ready.
The children then enjoyed three games:
The Gruffalo Hunt – Searching for hidden treasure while using their listening and movement skills.
Birthday Cake Builders – Working together to build cupcake towers and showing great determination when rebuilding them after they fell.
Fire Rescue Side Steps – Practising side-stepping before scoring a goal, helping to develop balance and coordination.
We finished with a calm cool-down to relax after all our hard work. Well done, Preschool!

After enjoying the story of Bumble Bear’s and the quest for honey, we explored the garden to watch busy bees on our flowers before creating our own beehives using cornflour and pasta.
Lots of fun, creativity, and learning all in one day! 🐝🌼✨

We had the absolute best time with our amazing preschool superstars today! The energy was through the roof as we worked on following instructions, quick changes of direction, and super-stretching our muscles like superheroes. Every single game had a football at our feet at some point, and the children did an incredible job keeping control while having a blast! 🎉

Our team worked hard today developing our nursery environment with the children’s interests at heart.
Creating a stimulating, welcoming and nurturing space is so important, as it supports children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
By carefully planning activities and areas around their interests, we encourage curiosity, independence, creativity and confidence, helping every child feel valued, engaged and excited to learn through play.

This morning, we enjoyed a wonderful and engaging walk. The children were excited to visit the horses.
During our walk, to the horses, the children took part in a fun checklist hunt, carefully searching for different items such as trains, dogs, flowers and more.
We also enjoyed some creative nature painting using spray bottles. The children explored colours and textures while developing their fine motor skills and expressing their creativity in a fun and sensory-rich way.

Today our Bee’s children have had a wonderful time exploring the vegetable and flower mud kitchen, mixing petals, herbs, soil, and water to create their own imaginative “recipes.” This type of sensory play encourages creativity, communication, and teamwork while helping children develop fine motor skills, confidence, and a deeper connection with nature through hands-on discovery. Well done, Bees! 🐝🪻🪴💚

Today the children enjoyed a lovely flower activity in the mud kitchen🌸
They explored the flowers by smelling, touching, and investigating the different textures and scents.
The children used coloured water and paint, mixing them together to create beautiful pink shades. They showed great fine motor skills whilst pouring, stirring, and handling the tools carefully.
It was wonderful to see the children practising turn taking skills , sharing resources, and working together whilst developing their sensory exploration and creativity. 💐🎨
