🎨COLOURFUL FUN🎨
Today in the Bees room we have been mixing summer colours and making the most of this beautiful weather to create an amazing masterpiece on a big scale outside in the garden.
The children have enjoyed using a wide range of tools, mark making on the card and watching to see what happens when the colours mix together.

☀️Walk in the sunshine☀️

Today, preschool had a lovely walk to the horses. On the way to see the horses, we listened to the sounds around us, including birds, cars, and a helicopter. The children listened brilliantly to staff, talked about safety at the bridge, enjoyed some running races, and had fun walking down the stone wall.

Well done, Preschool! 😆✨

Today Preschool have loved dressing up as the rainbow flag and learning all about kindness, inclusion, and the importance of being themselves ❤️

🫟🔢 MESSY MATHS 🔢🫟

This afternoon our Preschool children loved getting messy with the shaving foam, whilst practising our fine motor skills and shape and number formations. The children were so engaged throughout and are well on their way to becoming mathematical geniuses!!! Well done, Preschool! Superstars! ⭐️

Today the children enjoyed making play dough outside, helping to mix all the ingredients together. They used rollers and different tools to create patterns before using their imaginations to pretend they were cooking dinner in the oven. A fun activity that encouraged creativity, teamwork, and imaginative play! ♥️🌟

⚽️🏃 SPORTS SESSION 🏃⚽️

Today the children had a fun and active sports session! We started with a warm-up, practising movements such as star jumps, heel flicks, jogging, and swimming actions to get our bodies ready.

The children then enjoyed three games:

The Gruffalo Hunt – Searching for hidden treasure while using their listening and movement skills.

Birthday Cake Builders – Working together to build cupcake towers and showing great determination when rebuilding them after they fell.

Fire Rescue Side Steps – Practising side-stepping before scoring a goal, helping to develop balance and coordination.

We finished with a calm cool-down to relax after all our hard work. Well done, Preschool!

After enjoying the story of Bumble Bear’s and the quest for honey, we explored the garden to watch busy bees on our flowers before creating our own beehives using cornflour and pasta.

Lots of fun, creativity, and learning all in one day! 🐝🌼✨

The children in the Bees Room were full of excitement as they walked together to see the horses. They seemed to really enjoy exploring the outdoor surroundings and watched the horses in their natural environment.
