Kippax Ash Tree are having an Easter raffle fundraiser

We are hoping for donations of raffle prizes, ideally in the form of an Easter egg or Easter hamper/treats.

If your business would like to donate please attach your business card, we can then thank you on the internal school communications sent out to all parents.

We can collect or you can drop in at school.

Local Business Donations Wanted

To encourage excitement around reading school are holding a dress up day for World Book Day 📚 and children are being encouraged to bring in their favourite book to share with their friends. There are lots of exciting reading activities planned.

To encourage children we thought it would be lovely to run a competition for the best dressed in each year.group. We are therefore looking for local businesses to sponsor this event by donating a £10 Amazon voucher for the children to purchase a new book with.

Kippax Ash Tree Easter Raffle. If you can help in anyway please let me know 🙂

There will be a cake sale on Thursday 18th July outside the school office 3pm onwards for parents and children to buy homemade goods for 50p for year 6 Girls Castleford Comets netball group. They are raising funds for new equipment and kits.

There will be a variety of brownies, flapjack, chocolate buns and butterfly buns. Thank you for your support. 🧁

As today is forecast to be warm and sunny please remember sun cream, sun hats and water bottles! Especially as it’s sports day too! ☀️

PTA will also be selling drinks & crisps both this morning & this afternoon - this is cash only

As you may be aware, England will be playing in the Euro 2024 final next Sunday, 14th July. As a patriotic school, we recognise the significance of this event to some families and that many pupils and their families will want to watch the match together. Given the timing of the match, we will keep our registers open until 10am on Monday 15th July. This means that no child arriving before 10am will be recorded as late on this day.

However, please note that school will be open as usual, including our breakfast club.
All pupils are still expected to attend on this day, but we hope the option of a later arrival time will ensure everyone is present and ready to make the most of the last week of school.

Let's hope for an exciting match and a great result!
