Play Academy Play Academy is registered with Ofsted (Registration No 2537066) and is based primarily in The Barn, Calverley.

The club is open for breakfast sessions from 7.30am – 8.55amand afternoon sessions 3.20pm until 6.00pm weekdays (5.30pm Fri) At Play Academy we aim to provide a safe, secure and relaxed environment, offering a range of activities to reflect the interests of the children in our care. We want our children to have opportunities to be alive in the moment, therefore all our staff are committed to provi

ding a fun environment that is provided just for them to explore and create their own play experiences. We strongly believe in play that ‘bubbles up from the child’. Because of this, our staff use a wide range of resources & loose parts to create a sense of awe and wonder and allow the children to explore the world around them in their own unique way. The club is open for breakfast sessions from 7.30am – 8.55am and afternoon sessions 3.20pm until 6.00pm weekdays (5.30pm Fri), during term time. We hire the small hall from the school itself too. The club also has access to the school’s large playground behind The Barn that we use regularly for setting up fun, inspiring and often new outdoor play opportunities

We said goodbye to some of our amazing Year 6’s as they prepare to take their next big step to high school.
It has been a privilege to watch each of them grow and develop into the kind, confident young people they are today!
Whilst we are incredibly sad to see them go, we wish them all the very best and can’t wait to see what the future holds for them!
