🐮🌱 A farm-filled day of fun!
Our Year 5 pupils had a brilliant time at Jamie’s Farm, getting stuck into farm life, meeting the animals and enjoying plenty of new experiences along the way. 🐑🐴

Today marked the first visit to Jamie’s Farm for our new Year 5 pupils.

The children enjoyed exploring the farm and learning more about the animals, as well as having the opportunity to feed them.

It was a memorable day for everyone and we are already looking forward to our next visit!

Earlier this week, Year 3 had a fantastic visit from renowned author Richard O’Neill, who shared his wonderful book The Show Must Go On.

He gave pupils a fascinating insight into life on the fairground. Through curiosity, questioning and creative thinking, our children developed their understanding and made meaningful connections with real-life experiences.

Inspired by Richard’s visit, Year 3 and 4 are now excitedly applying their imagination and enterprise skills to design their very own school fair, which will take place on Friday 16th October.

Language of the Term: Makaton
This term, our Language of the Term is Makaton. Makaton uses signs, symbols and speech to support communication. Throughout the term, we will learn new signs each week and use them in our daily routines. This will help us to become more inclusive, build confidence in communication and develop our understanding of different ways people express themselves.

Our new Attendance Raffle launches tomorrow! Families can earn raffle tickets throughout the Autumn Term for excellent attendance and attendance improvements, with the chance to win a £100 Asda voucher at the end of the term.
