Paws in the Park is this Saturday in collaboration with Leeds City College & the RSPCA Leeds, Wakefield & District Branch: Animal Centre! Gilbert came second in Most Handsome Fella last year so will be back this year! The show is 10-3 at Temple Newsam Estate with lots of fun activities for everyone to enjoy. We hope to see you then!

Our new building is coming along nicely, with a completion planned for mid-September! Located just behind the beautiful walled garden at the Temple Newsam Estate, this new space is designed to elevate the learning experience for all our students. Its an exciting time to join us! 🐝🐝Today is World Bee Day! Did you know our department has 3 of its own bee hives? Our first hive was relocated to Temple Newsam a couple of years ago from Park Lane campus, since then the project has gone from strength to strength, managed by the Deputy Head Darren. Pick up a jar of Leeds City College honey from Printworks Deli and Bar.

All of our hives are currently based offsite whilst our building project is completed, they look forward to returning to Temple Newsam in the very near future.

Silkie chickens: because sometimes you want a pet, and sometimes you want a sentient marshmallow that's having a permanent bad hair day.
