Vegetable Soup 🍲

Our Oaks preschool have shown lots of interest in role playing making soup in the mud kitchen and home corner recently. We decided to make vegetable soup for all our friends for tea 🥰

The children used the safety knives to cut up various vegetables and put them all in the slow cooker and added vegetable stock. We had lots of discussion around safety and what kind of vegetables we wanted to add into our delicious creation! The ladies introduced new vocabulary of vegetables the children had not heard of before ! ✨

Ernie has finished his big Australian road trip, making his final stop in Sydney with one of our children and his Family. He’s had a brilliant time hanging out with koalas, water dragons and wombats and even managed to squeeze in a couple of days of sightseeing in Qatar 🇶🇦

Our Blossom Babies have enjoyed an outing to the Tarn this morning. The children had lots of fun feeding the ducks and watching the aeroplanes on the run way 🦆✈️

We also enjoyed a lovely picnic snack on the grass watching the ducks and swans swim by 🦢✨🌿
