A reminder to all of our Year 11 students that Results Day is tomorrow! 🎉

📍 Please arrive through the main gate, where you will be directed to where you need to go.

⏰ Results can be collected between 9:00am and 11:00am.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 You are encouraged to attend with a parent/carer if you wish.

💬 Support will be available throughout the morning should you need advice or guidance about your next steps.

We can’t wait to see you and celebrate everything you have achieved! 💙

This is a reminder that tomorrow is a non-uniform day.
Whilst students may wear their own clothes, school standards and expectations remain in place. Please ensure that:
- Lanyards must be worn at all times.
- Jewellery is limited to one ring per hand and one pair of stud earrings only.
- Crop tops are not permitted.
- Nike Pro-style shorts are not permitted.
- Clothing must be appropriate, safe and suitable for a school environment.
- Croc style or open toe shoes are not permitted.

On Tuesday, we were proud to host our second Careers Fair, welcoming students from Years 7 - 10 to connect with a diverse range of organisations and professionals. 🤝🏽

With 25 exhibitors in attendance - including further and higher education providers, employers, apprenticeship providers, and local charities - our students had the opportunity to explore future pathways, ask thoughtful questions, and gain valuable insight into the world beyond school. 🌏

The highlight of the day? Our students. They were engaged, curious, confident, and enthusiastic throughout, making the most of every conversation and representing JSA brilliantly. 🙌🏽

A huge thank you to all of our exhibitors for giving up your time, sharing your expertise, and inspiring the next generation. Your support plays a vital role in helping our young people make informed decisions about their futures, and we are incredibly grateful. 👏🏽

As we head towards the summer break, we’ll continue building on the conversations started, supporting every student as they explore their post-16 options and take another step towards Securing the Gift of Choice. ✅

☀️ Uniform Arrangements – Monday & Tuesday ☀️

Due to the continued high temperatures, the following uniform arrangements will be in place for the final two days of the academic year.

📅 Monday
Students who successfully completed the Smeaton Streak Challenge are eligible to wear non-uniform as their reward.

Students who are not eligible for the Smeaton Streak Challenge reward should attend in one of the following:

* School PE kit (PE top and shorts with trainers – PE socks are not required). Students who do not wear shorts for faith reasons may wear their usual PE attire, such as lightweight tracksuit bottoms.
* Adjusted school uniform: black trousers with a white shirt tucked in, no tie required, and the top button may be left unfastened.
* Full school uniform.

📅 Tuesday
All students may wear non-uniform.

Please ensure that all non-uniform clothing is appropriate for school. Crop tops and other unsuitable clothing are not permitted.

🪪 Lanyards with ID badges must be worn at all times on both Monday and Tuesday.

Please also remember to:
✅ Apply sunscreen before school.
✅ Bring plenty of water (frozen bottles work well).
✅ Consider bringing a cap to wear during social times.
