What a busy few weeks it has been! From the Sing Spectacular at Headingley Stadium, a visit from Bright Bites and Year 2 winning the Healthy Selfie and a visit to the park. The fun just never stops here at Yeadon Westfield Infant School 🌈

Commonwealth badminton player Jenny Wallwork visited our school on Monday. She led a sponsored fitness circuit with all pupils, followed by a motivational assembly, and Q&A session. The aim of the event was to inspire the pupils to be more physically active, but just as importantly, encourage them to discover and pursue their passion in life.
Thanks to everyone who supported the children with sponsorship. Please return any money by 5th May which will be used to buy sports equipment for school. 🎳🥏🏀🥎🏏🏸 Great Athletes

Our KS1 pupils had a fantastic time on their educational visit to Skipton Castle! The children explored the historic grounds, learned about life in medieval times, and discovered how castles were used to defend against invaders. They were especially excited to see the old kitchens and climb the winding staircases. The visit brought their history learning to life and sparked lots of curiosity and great questions. Thank you to all the staff and volunteers! 🏰
