‘Tis the season for distinctions!
Another amazing result for Barnabus this time, in his grade 2 ABRSM percussion exam. He got a fantastic 142/150 mark. A great reward for all his hard work and more evidence of online teaching working well 😁

Distinction alert! Big congrats to Daniel Middlebrook for acing his Grade 2 Rockschool exam with a mega 90% last week. Daniel has been studying with me at All Saints Primary in Otley for a few years now, but he moved online in March and so has covered most of the syllabus via Skype. Proof if it were needed that online lessons can work very effectively.

Lots of great progress so far this term from all my (currently) online students 🙂
I’ve got drummers who have been working hard in preparation for their Rockschool exams as well as others who have finished a Trinity Rock & Pop grade & are moving up a level.
There are also lots of students midway through a grade & enjoying learning.
Some students like to sit the official grade exams, others just like to complete a grade book & move on without sitting the exam. It’s all good by me as long as they are enjoying their playing & moving forward 😁🥁
