We have two alumni’s coming to talk to us about what they have been up to since leaving uni. The event is 7-9pm at the Lounge section of Common grounds if you have any questions feel free to DM!

Type of social work: I’m not quite sure exactly what social work I want to go into and am hoping my placements will help guide me more- atm I’m leaning towards geriatric social work or forensic social work

Type of social work interested in: I have always been interested in working with children and families, however I completed my adults placement in 2nd year and loved it!

Year: Going into 3rd year (FML)

Future job: Once I finish I want to go into child protection and work towards becoming a therapist for children
