You’re not going to have motivation on your side all of the time especially as life gets in the way.
Motivation dies but habit never lies.
Motivation is what gets you to do that first workout, eat a bit cleaner one week or go on that first run. HABIT is what’s going to get to you to that monthly goal, 6 month goal and yearly goal.
NOT MOTIVATION
If we relied on motivation alone, we wouldn’t achieve too much. It’s the habit and the attitude that gets us there. If we relied solely on motivation, it’s likely that we wouldn’t do the mundane activities that we have to do as humans. Keep this in mind for when the going gets tough.
Even going out for that half an hour walk which you’ve been putting off all day will make you feel a million times better than what you first anticipated.
