Through our Partnership with Leeds Rhinos 🦏, Park Spring have been offered discounted Leeds Rhinos Tickets for what could be the match where Leeds Rhinos 🦏 are lifting the league leaders shield 🏆 at their final game of the season v Hull FC on Fri 11th September 🏉; and in any event they will be playing for a top two finish in the league table, which will give us a home semi - final in the playoffs!

This offer is for children/young people from local schools to attend the match for just £5 with a paying adult.

COULD YOUR CHILD BE ENTITLED TO A FREE MEAL?

From September 2026, the eligibility criteria for Free School Meals (FSM) in England will be expanded to all children in families receiving Universal Credit (UC).

The change will apply for children in all settings where free school meals are provided, including schools, school-based nurseries and Further Education settings.

COULD YOUR CHILD BE ENTITLED TO A FREE MEAL?

From September 2026, the eligibility criteria for Free School Meals (FSM) in England will be expanded to all children in families receiving Universal Credit (UC).

The change will apply for children in all settings where free school meals are provided, including schools, school-based nurseries and Further Education settings.

The change has been cited as part of the Government’s agenda to tackle Child Poverty, with full details of the national Child Poverty Strategy anticipated for later this year.

Since 2018, children have only been eligible for FSM if their household income is less than £7,400 per year. From September 2026, the £7400 annual earnings threshold for Universal Credit will no longer apply and to qualify for free school meals, the parent will simply need to be in receipt of UC irrespective of earnings.

....and that's a wrap!! The Class of 2026 have left Park Spring! It was very emotional and the whole school came onto the playground to clap them out. There was not a dry eye!
We had a lovely parent picnic and presentation on the field as well!
We wish all our year 6 children the best for the future and hope they enjoy their summer before high school starts.
Thank you to all the parents for your support and for coming today.

Children will be coming home with their wellies by the end of the week so that we can clean the areas during the holidays.

If your child has grown out of their wellies, or if they are year 6 children, please consider donating them to our school 'wellie bank'.

Wellies are part of our uniform policy - please find the policy on the website https://parkspringprimary.co.uk/parents/uniform/

Please make sure you are bringing your child's wellies back to school on 2nd September, and that they fit your child. 🥾🥾

We have recently changed suppliers of our school uniform to allow parents the facility to order and pay online and choose to have your uniform delivered to school or your home. We have a stock of sizes which can be tried on in school before ordering to ensure the correct size is ordered, please just...

Just a sneak peak at our Year 6 Final Production of Bugsy Malone which premiers on Monday to the Year 6 families.

We are so excited for the families to watch the children in action.

A special thank you to our committed FOPS - Friends of Park Spring member Kirsty Cushing for your creative flare and commitment to ensuring we have an amazing set.

Thank you also to Ms Herron for organising amazing lighting for us. What a difference it makes.
