Residents enjoyed a delightful afternoon inspired by the world famous Royal Ascot.

Horse themed games & a best dressed resident prize made the afternoon enjoyable!

The event brought residents together for an afternoon of fun & community spirit. 🐴

Have Your Say on Staying Active in Leeds

We are looking for local people to take part in a friendly focus group to help shape a new citywide campaign. The aim is to support people to become more active, improve strength and balance, and help prevent falls.

We would like to hear your views on:

What helps you stay active
What puts you off exercising
What would motivate you to move more

We are especially keen to hear from:

Women aged 45–60
Men aged 40–55
People approaching retirement
People who do not currently exercise much

Sessions will be relaxed and informal, with 10–12 people per group.

Participants will receive a £20 voucher as a thank you for taking part.

Today we celebrated St George with some games...indoor bowls & archery, followed by refreshments & buns from our Bistro!

This afternoon our residents enjoyed a presentation from Peter, who is part of the Lippy People Project, based in Leeds.

Lippy People is an advocacy charity that uses video storytelling to support people to share their often challenging lived experiences.

The stories of real life experiences were very touching & heartwarming to watch & listen to.
