We have used chalk outside to draw around our bodies and measure them and compare sizes. This week in the sunflowers room we have looked at the book “you choose fairy tales”. This book has been one of the children’s favourite books this year, there is so much to talk about and so many activities to do.
The children have enjoyed listening to the book and choosing their own characters, houses, friends, mazes ect in this book and putting the story together at the end. We let their imaginations run away with itself. We have also created our own stories by choosing characters who we want in our stories then drawing them. The children have also spoken about what they would like to be when they grow up, we had lots of teachers, builders, princesses, spidermen and many more wonderful things.
In our forest school we got to experience a bare foot walk which the children absolutely loved. They spoke about what they could feel on their feet as they walked across it.
And finally… in our little chefs we created pizza wraps!! They were absolutely delicious. The children add mushrooms, tomato puree,Sweet corn and cheese. The children loved them.
I hope you have a fantastic weekend and remember always follow your dreams✨💫
