🐞 Insect Week in Toddlers🦋

As part of Insect Week, Carley set up a fun minibeast hunt for the children to explore in the sensory tray. The children used their fine motor skills to carefully manipulate the tools as they searched for hidden insects.

This engaging activity also helped to develop their understanding of the world as they discovered different minibeasts, while introducing early mathematical concepts through counting and using size language such as big, small, long, and short.

The Lullaby Trust have created information about how to keep your baby as safe as possible in the sun or hot weather 🩷

Our talented children have been busy creating colourful World Cup flags, which are now proudly displayed at Oakwood Solicitors. We are so proud of their creativity and hard work, and it is wonderful to see their artwork being showcased in the local community. 💙

☀️ Preschool have been enjoying the warm weather and getting creative with frozen paint! 🎨❄️

We froze different coloured paints overnight with lollipop sticks as handles, giving the children a fun alternative to traditional paintbrushes. As the ice began to melt, the children showed great problem-solving skills by adapting and using the lollipop sticks themselves to continue their artwork.

A fantastic activity that encouraged creativity, exploration, and resilience — the perfect way to end the week and welcome the sunshine! ☀️😊
