Join us for an evening of Ceilidh dancing at The Granary, Felton. A ceilidh is a lively, social event with roots in Scottish and Irish tradition — full of simple group dances led by a caller and set to live folk music. It’s active, energetic, and great fun for all ages. Even if you think audience participation isn’t your thing, ceilidh dancing has a way of drawing everyone in. The dances are easy to follow, making it perfect for children as well as adults.
As well as being a brilliant night out, this event raises money for the Friends of Ashperton (Registered Charity No. 1192837). The charity exists to ensure that funds raised are used directly to enhance children’s learning and provide extra-curricular opportunities at Ashperton School. Every ticket sold makes a difference to the educational experience of the children — and events like this also help strengthen the bonds within our parent community, especially for new families joining the school.
Doors open at 5:30pm, with dancing from 6–9pm. A meal (included in your ticket) will be served at 7pm, and the evening will close at 10pm.
Dress code: add a touch of tartan and bring comfy shoes for dancing.
We’d love you to join us, come with friends, bring the family, and enjoy an evening that combines fun, community, and a very good cause. Tickets are expected to sell out quickly, so book early to avoid disappointment.
