These lovely ladies joined me for an Introduction to Crochet workshop last week.

Learning how to make these handy little baskets they now have the knowledge to complete them at home and left a with an arm full of supplies to create more!

Their crochet journey has certainly started! 😄🧶

What a wonderful workshop with these ladies!

It did turn out a little warm (it was a very hot day last week) but these sunflowers didn’t wilt and will certainly stay fresh for a long time. Aren’t they amazing?!

We did giggle over a couple of Calendar Girl photos shots 😂 but then took more!

If you can’t wait until our next workshop on 29th October why not have one if our kits and make some at home. Each kit comes with materials to make 6 sunflowers and with full instructions, you just need scissors and a hot glue gun. Check out our website for details.

I’m very late in posting but here are a few photos from our Willow Bullrushes & Dragonflies workshop last weekend.

The morning session was a private group celebrating a 60th birthday (no photos ☹️), and with the afternoon workshop, 22 attendees in total, that’s a lot of Bullrushes and dragonflies!

Our next workshop is on 26th September in the afternoon (4 places left) or you may want to try basket making on 8th November, or Willow Christmas decorations on 22nd November.

We are excited to share our next Wire workshop in September with Laura Milne Art and it's a NEW one!

Learn how to craft delicate wire leaves using different gauges of wire to achieve intricate detail and texture. Once complete, you’ll arrange and mount your leaves onto paper to create a beautiful framed artwork.
This relaxed and friendly workshop is suitable for all abilities. No prior experience is needed. Just bring your enthusiasm and enjoy learning a new skill while creating an elegant piece of art to take home.

All materials are provided including a frame so your artwork is ready to hang on the wall when you get home.

When two friends living miles apart visit each other, they also enjoy crafty time together learning new skills.

They came to a Silver Clay workshop last week to made beautiful silver jewellery (see previous posts) and whilst at the barn bought two of my kits. They then spent more crafty time together making these beautiful Deco Mesh & Ribbon Wreaths ready for Christmas.

Wonderful memories were made and everytime they look at their jewellery and wreaths, they will remember their summer holiday together.

Our Deco Mesh & Ribbon Wreath kits can be found on our website. They also make impactful table decorations with a flame safe candle added. Choose Christmas or Spring/Summer, we also have some autumnal/halloween colours available on request. If you prefer crafting with others, come to a workshop on 23rd October or 21st November and craft along with us.

This is what happens when you save beautiful fabrics for just the right project! All of them are absolutely stunning and beautifully match what its owner was wearing today 😂 …….obviously their favourite colours 😉

Ladies, you smashed it! Your lampshades look fantastic!

I hope you enjoy making the matching ones at home and those travelling back to the Isle of Man do so safely.
