Physical Activity Guidelines

New infographics have been released to highlight the Chief Medical Officer's physical activity guidelines for children and young people aged under 5, 5-18 and for disabled children and young people. These are good to raise awareness of all the incredible benefits physical activity can bring and the amount of time children should spend getting active every day.

Starting tomorrow, an amber heat-health alert has been issued across most of the country. It’s in place from 8-12 July.

Many of us welcome the hot weather, but it can put some people’s health at risk - particularly if they’re vulnerable.

☀️‼️ RED WEATHER WARNING ‼️ ☀️

In recognition of the forecast high temperatures , Lechlade Little Learners will operate a shortened day on both Wednesday and Thursday.

We will therefore close the preschool at 12pm on those days.

Please know we are and will continue to do everything possible to keep children safe in this weather and this is why we have come to this decision.

If you do decide to keep your child home please let us know.
