Following last week's exceptional A level success, St John's is delighted to celebrate another year of excellent GCSE results, with one third of all grades were awarded at grade 9, with 62% at grades 9-8 and 80% at grades 9-7!

St John’s School is celebrating an exceptional set of A level results, with the Class of 2026 achieving some of the strongest outcomes in the School’s history. This year, 24% of all grades were awarded at A*, 58% at A*-A and 85% at A*-B, with 40% of pupils securing at least one A* grade.

Minibus Drivers – Permanent and Bank Opportunities
Part Time- Term time only (34 weeks a year)
Start date: October 2026

As a Minibus Driver you will transport pupils to and from the School via given pick-up points and assist with site duties as required. The postholder will have confident driving skills, communication skills and will be reliable and punctual. Previous work of a similar nature or in a school environment is desirable.

We are looking for drivers to hold a full clean UK driving licence over the last 3 years, with category D1 (101) at a minimum, and a full category D1 and/or PCV licence is desirable.

We are also recruiting Bank Minibus Drivers to be available for ad hoc work term time only.

We are looking for a German Language Assistant who will be a fluent German speaker who is committed to helping pupils develop their oral fluency and to support pupils in their preparation for the oral examinations. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in an educational setting and to make a significant contribution to the delivery of German.

The Multi-Sport Eagle Camp is underway at St John’s, with pupils from Years 5-8 experience a wide range of sports and activities in our fabulous facilities, working with the incredible staff of the St John's Sports Department.

Looking back on a brilliant four days at our Eagle Performing Arts Camp, filled with rehearsals, choreography, singing, laughter and culminating in an incredible showcase for parents.

It was a joy to see so many children in Years 5-7 embrace every moment, giving their all on stage and growing in confidence throughout the week.

A huge well done to everyone involved, and a special thank you to our workshop leaders for creating such a memorable experience.
