Today we said goodbye to a little one who’s been a part of my everyday life since May 2024.
From tiny milestones to big feelings, giggles to cuddles, she’s filled my days with so much joy.
She came to me as a tiny butterfly, and now she’s leaving ready to spread her wings, she’s confident, kind, brave and so full of light.

Watching her grow has been one of my greatest joys. Her next chapter is here, and she’s more than ready for it 🦋

Thank you so much to her parents for the most thoughtful gift, a frame named with every child I’ve cared for since opening. I’ll treasure it always 🥹

Today’s art was all about nature, fruits, sticks, corn and colour. The children explored textures, scents and squishy sensory goodness before turning it all into art. Real materials spark real imagination, and there was so much talk about colours, shapes and how the paint moved.

Happy Tuesday ✨

A peek at today’s invitations to play before the children arrive and the day gets wonderfully busy.
Dinosaur land is ready for digging and discovering, the sea animals are waiting to be caught and explored, the mud kitchen has had a little extension, and we’ve got mark‑making, colour recognition and a calm cosy space for stories.

The uneven surface challenges their muscles, the colours spark language, and the shared space encourages gentle social interaction. It’s playful, joyful, and intentionally designed to support early development in a way that feels completely natural to them.
