Whilst some of us engage in some gentle paddle boarding this summer, Dani Poulter and Lucy Morris (MHOG 2012) will be taking part in the Peddle, Paddle, Peak challenge, taking them on a 30 mile cycle in the Lake District, a two-mile canoe paddle on Ullswater Lake and climbing the Helvellyn Mountain, the second highest peak in England, all in aid of Muscular Dystrophy UK.
Dani shares: "I am passionate about doing everything I can to raise money to improve the quality of life for people living with muscle-wasting conditions like my brother John’s – and ultimately to find a cure."
Lucy adds: "I grew up just around the corner from Dani and John, so have seen some of the challenges John and his family have faced over the years – especially during the pandemic.
As a team of four, our aim was to raise £500 each and I am already over that mark! Now it's a case of every little helps to make an even bigger difference”. https://www.justgiving.com/team/withoutapaddle.
We will be cheering you on!
