Stated a class in a primary school with a lovely bunch of kids. Our pre-Christmas class we did cheese twists with a wreath craft.

Diwali celebrations this week. We made potato and veg samosas the kids did great. Diwali is about light overcoming darkness, good overcoming evil and knowledge overcoming ignorance. So we had a general knowledge quiz parents (Name: Grey Hair Don’t Care) vs kids (Name: Champions). Kids won by one point and got the prize!

Hobbit week this week. We cooked lembas bread (all scoffed before I could get a picture) and went on a quest finding items before solving a riddle to find the dragon guarding the treasure. It was in the chair room, would you have solved it? Yes children, I know it was a dinosaur and not a dragon 😂

Roald Dahl week, we made blackbird pie (chicken and vegan), did some of George’s marvellous experiments. The volcano couldn’t have been more lame 😂 but the popping film cases were awesome!

Volcano cake which can be cut into lovely bars if left to cool but not if scarfed before even leaving cooking class! 😂 Game was a blind taste test, they were so trusting but then I’d have never of given them chillies, maybe next time 🤭

3 cheesy potato cups! With peppers/baked beans/sweetcorn, some kids mixed them all in the same pot Very raucous game of “keepy uppy” with balloons apologies neighbours (our neighbours are a graveyard btw).

Korean corn dogs this week with an American mustard to dip. Very sweaty in the kitchen but worth it for that cheese pull!! The biggest thank you to the St Chad's Centre for our beautiful new bowls the kids were chuffed ❤️

International sushi day today, also too hot to be sweating over a stove! The kids did amazing, concentrated really hard. We made cucumber, tuna mayo and teriyaki salmon rolls. Then we relaxed with some ice lollies 😎
